Biographical / Historical
The west side of the field, with a seating capacity of 3,750, was completed and dedicated on October 22, 1921. The east side was completed and dedicated on November 23, 1929. This addition increased the seating capacity to about 15,000. The field was razed in 1988 and was replaced by the soccer field that is presently there.
