Completed and opened for classes in September, 1920, it was the first building constructed by St. Xavier College on its new Avondale campus. It was a gift from the alumni who contributed to the Diamond Jubilee Fund of St. Xavier College in 1915. After extensive renovation, it was rededicated in April, 2000, and renamed Edgecliff Hall to honor the former Edgecliff College and its graduates. The original cost of the building was $188,000.00.
