Biographical / Historical
Elet Hall is located on Winding Way on the West Campus. It was built as a dormitory which accommodated about 100 students. The formal opening took place on October 4, 1924. With its opening Xavier once again became a "boarding institution." The building was named after Xavier's first Jesuit president, John A. Elet, S.J.. The original cost of the building was $ 249,000.00.
