Biographical / Historical
The Gallagher Student Center is located at the juncture of the Academic Mall and the Residential Mall, across from Bellarmine Chapel. It is named in honor of Charles P. Gallagher, Class of 1960, the principal donor. The building's original cost was $ 13,955,000.00. The building contains a theatre, bookstore, conference rooms, offices, a food court and shops. It replaced the University Center Building which stood on the same site. It was dedicated and opened in 2002.
