Biographical / Historical
The Lindner Physics Hall is located on the west side of the Academic Mall between Logan Hall and the Gallagher Student Center. It was named in honor the family of Carl H. Lindner, the principal donor. Mr. Lindner was a noted Cincinnati businessman and philanthropist. The hall was dedicated on October 30, 1991. The hall houses the "Foucault Pendulum" and the Xavier Observatory.
