The Walker House was located at 1500 Dana Avenue on the north side of the street. Xavier University purchased this residential home. On November 23, 1969, the house was dedicated to the memory of Dr. Russell J. Walker, a professor of accounting and former assistant dean of the College of Business Administration. At the time of the dedication the house served as the office of the Institute of Business Services and the Hospital Administration program. Later it was the Financial Aid office. It was razed sometime in the 1990s to make way for the Admission Office parking lot on Dana Avenue outside Schott Hall.
