Biographical / Historical
The Long Range Development Program for Xavier University was initiated in celebration of the 125th anniversary of the establishment of the Athenaeum (1831), the forerunner of St. Xavier College and Xavier University. The purpose of the campaign was to financially support additional faculty, scholarships, and building construction.
