Scope and Contents
This collection contains Xavier Magazine, a quarterly publication for alumni and friends of Xavier University produced by the Office of Marketing and Communication from 1970-2015. Xavier Magazine covered news about the university, and included feature articles as well as updates from alumni organizations and individuals. There were no issues published after September 1972 until September 1983. Some later magazines include the university president’s annual report.

Historical Sketch of Xavier Magazine
Xavier Magazine, produced by the Office of Marketing and Communications, was first published under the title Xavier from January 1970-September 1972. There were no issues published after September 1972 until September 1983. It was called Xavier Today from September 1983-Winter/Spring 1990, then Xavier University Magazine from summer 1990-fall 1992 followed by Xavier: The Magazine of Xavier University from winter 1993-2000. It became Xavier beginning in 2000 and ended publication after fall 2015.
