Content Description

91.7 WVXU, a radio station owned by Cincinnati Public Radio, produced a series of special programs about and in celebration of King Records, a music label founded in 1943 by Syd Nathan in Cincinnati, Ohio. This collection is the audio programs, as well as recorded interviews, music ,and other programming elements such as photographs that were utilized in the program production.

Individuals represented in the interviews include, but are not limited to: Bill Beach, Bullmoose Jackson, Henry Glover, Wynonie Harris, Roy Brown, Bill Doggett, and Hawkshaw Hawkins.
