History of the Communications and Marketing Network Committee
This committee has existed since at least 2002. It has had different names over the years.
In 2003 it was called the Strategic Marketing Committee. By 2010 it was named the Marketing Coordinating Committee. In 2012 it had its current title Communications and Marketing Network Committee. According to the Annual List of University Committees and Their Membership for 2010-2011, the goal of this committee was "to enhance the University's image and revenue through an integrated marketing effort. Its specific purpose ...to coordinate all phases of marketing done at Xavier-- whether through publication, the web and graphic identity media and public relations, and image and program-specific advertising."
