Scope and Content

Collection contains twenty-seven digital images of Xavier University Library staff at events such as the President's Reception, retirement parties, and wedding showers from 1990-2007. The majority of the photographs were taken by Marty Ferrell while she was a library employee. One photograph shows Ferrell receiving an award from Michael Graham, SJ, President, Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio). Several capture the interior of the Conaton Board Room in Schmidt Hall when it was used as the Lodge Learning Lab.

Biography of Marty Ferrell

Martha (Marty) Ferrell began working at Xavier University Library in 1985. She was the collection development librarian and retired in 2017 as the head of collection services.

Processing Information

University Archives staff digitized original 4" x 6" photographic prints using an Epson Expression 12000XL. Originals were returned to the donor in August 2017. The collection contains only the digital surrogates.
